Yodeling makes everything more enjoyable

This video is by Martin Sexton, a guy that used to sit on the streetcorners of Boston and sells cassettes out of a suitcase. He's not the only singer I love with that kind of background. Patty Griffin used to be a waitress Boston before she could sing and pay the bills with it.

It really showcases his vocal range and songwriting abilities, but the real reason I posted it is because it's a magical song. This song casts a spell over me, and it's all because of the "chorus". It don't know why, but it reaches inside of me and makes me #1- try to yodel with him (ouch) and #2- feel deeply and be encouraged that the things I don't like about myself can be changed. It's all because of the chorus, and therein lies the magic.

Listen to it, and tell me you weren't singing with him by the end...

Martin Sexton is the best. ...I saw him in Milwaukee about a year ago and both my wife and I were amazed. ...I can't wait to see him again. Good choice...
